| Above you can see the Bombarde Mixture, which is composed
like a Cornet (8, 4, 2 2/3, 2, 1 3/5). This mixture even has an offset chest for the
basses of the 8 foot rank. Above and to the right is another view of the Bombarde reeds, note that the Clarion rank has been removed for cleaning. To the right is a close up of the reed pipes. These ranks are (from left to right, the 16 foot Bombarde, the 8 foot Tuba Magna, and the 8 foot Tuba (two rows each). Note the large scaling of the Tuba Magna. |
