At the top of the long ladder, above the Great, was the Bombarde division.

Here is a view from the floor of the chamber looking up at the reed chest. To the right you can see the bottom six notes of the Tuba Magna, and the Sixteen foot Bombardes wooden resonators.

Above you can see the Bombarde Mixture, which is composed like a Cornet (8, 4, 2 2/3, 2, 1 3/5). This mixture even has an offset chest for the basses of the 8 foot rank.

Above and to the right is another view of the Bombarde reeds, note that the Clarion rank has been removed for cleaning.

To the right is a close up of the reed pipes. These ranks are (from left to right, the 16 foot Bombarde, the 8 foot Tuba Magna, and the 8 foot Tuba (two rows each). Note the large scaling of the Tuba Magna.
