Here is the Swell Division, containing 28 ranks.

This was the bottom chamber on the right side of the stage, above the Theatre organ console.

Here you can see the Swell Oboe, which appears on the theatre organ as the Oboe Horn, along with several of the swell strings.

Turning around to see the Dolce Cornet, which has five ranks. The cross walk, seen in the center is about twenty feet long.

image12.jpg (71225 bytes) To the right you can see the Swell Vox Humana, which plays on 7 1/2 inches of pressure (the lowest pressure in the organ). The Vox has it's own chest, but the action is tubed off the chest just in front of it. (with the Lieblich Gedeckt (wood))

Here is another overall shot of the swell, note the pipes are the rear, this effect is caused by two manual chests being placed end to end, instead of the more typical side by side placement every where else.

And now looking from back to front.
